The City of Tangent is aware of a serious incident in which two dogs attacked a resident walking her two dogs on the sidewalk in front of City Hall. The owner of the two small dogs was also injured, along with a couple of bystanders who interveined to break up the attack. The Linn County Sheriff's Office responded and issued a citation. The Brush Trail is closed due to minor flooding. Please do not enter the trail or walk around the cones.

Thank you to Matuszak Fencing for the newly installed  school fence.  This will help us increase our security during school hours. The fence will be unlocked on the West end of the building each night and on weekends to allow for access. The City of Tangent also has gate access that they can unlock during these times.  We apologize that the first weekend the locks remained on.
