Tangent City Hall staff have been made aware of a cougar that has been seen in the city limits along Tangent Dr. Tangent City staff have informed the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) about the cougar being seen on more than one occasion in the city limits.
According to the ODFW web page on "Living with Cougars", Cougars often will retreat if given the opportunity. So do leave them a way to escape in case you come across a cougar.
Please call ODFW at 541-757-4186 and hit zero to report a cougar sighting.
