A Beautiful Community

The City of Tangent is a home rule city located in Linn County with an estimated population of 1,195 by the United States Census. The City is located on Oregon Highway 99 East, seven miles from Downtown Albany, nine miles from Corvallis, and 12 miles from Lebanon.

With our proximity to Oregon Highway 34 and Interstate 5, Tangent is a small town conveniently located in the middle of Mid-Willamette Valley. The “Grass Seed Capital of the World” is the home of many businesses, including industries not related to agriculture, and is ideal for setting up shop!

We invite you to stop by the Tangent, visit historic City Hall, walk the David Brush Trail, or enjoy Pioneer Park with your family.
