The City of Tangent’s Land Use Development Code establishes standards and procedures to promote orderly land development within the City and conformance with the Tangent Comprehensive Plan, protect property rights, provide due process of law, and promote the public health, safety, and welfare of all citizens.

15 Minute Meeting with Development Director

To meet with the Development Director before applying, please click on the link below to schedule a free 15-minute meeting to discuss your project.

Late by five minutes and the meeting will be canceled. One meet per two months, two max.

Pre-Application Meeting

A Pre-Application Meeting will gather all agencies necessary for your project, including:

  • Engineer

  • Development Director

  • County Planning & Building

  • Tangent Fire District

  • Additional Agencies as needed.

The meeting has a $600 fee due at least two weeks before the meeting.
