Driving Safety In Tangent

At the start of the school year, children will ride the school bus or walk to Tangent Elementary School, located next to City Hall on Old Oak Drive. Please be sure to follow all traffic direction signs, including the following:


  • Stop Sign at Birdfoot and Old Church Road.

  • Twenty miles per hour during school morning and afternoon.

  • Crosswalk on Birdfoot connecting the Brush Recreational Trail.

  • Stop Sign on Arrowhead and Wildrose

  • Crossing Guard signals

  • School Buses flashing red lights and stop signs deployed

Let's keep our children and residents safe this school year and be mindful of school buses' frequent stops.
