Free Smoke Detectors & Installation



The Tangent Rural Fire District (TRFD) and the American Red Cross have smoke detectors available for residents of Tangent to use in their homes. If you wish to have a smoke detector, you have two options.


Come to the TRFD Office at 32053 Birdfoot Dr, Tangent OR 97389, between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. TRFD will schedule to install the smoke detector.


You may also call TRFD at 541-928-8722 during business hours to schedule installation of the smoke detectors.


Please note, in the event TRFD is responding to a call, there may not be someone at the TRFD Office at all times, do call and inform TRFD a leave a voicemail about interest in a smoke detector.
