GAPS LRFAC April 7 Meeting & Tangent Elementary

The City of Tangent is aware of a recommendation from the Greater Albany Public Schools (GAPS) Long Range Facility Advisory Committee (LRFAC) to consolidate three schools, including Tangent Elementary School. The recommendations may be forwarded to the GAPS School Board for a final decision to achieve a sustainable school district.

We invite anyone who wishes to have their concerns or opinions heard to attend the Tangent City Council meeting on April 13, 7:00 PM, at Tangent City Hall. We do have citizen comments, during which anyone in attendance may address the council for three minutes.

We will also amend our agenda to discuss avenues the city can explore to ensure there is a school for Tangent residents within the city limits.
